Species: Triceratops prorsus
Discovered in the layers of the Hell Creek Formation in Montana, USA.
Maastrichtian age of the Late Cretaceous epoch, approximately 68 million years ago. Triceratops prorsus was among the last of the dinosaurs extant at the time of the extinction which abruptly ended the Cretaceous period.
